Writing an essay with feedback
Choose Write your own in Texts, pick a topic and write in Chinese. Tomyo suggests a corrected version and explains the errors it finds. You can save a draft and return later; checking an essay and saving a finished text have separate limits.
Topic and draft
Choose a suggested topic or enter your own. Words opens your dictionary; search by translation, pinyin or characters. Ask Tomyo helps with an individual sentence. You need a Chinese keyboard to type characters.
You do not have to finish in one sitting. Save the draft and find it in the text list later. If a save error appears next to the editor, retry before leaving.
What the feedback shows
Feedback shows your wording, the correction and an explanation. The corrected version may contain other small edits, so read it in full before saving. AI feedback can be wrong; ask the assistant about the rule if an explanation is unclear.
After checking
A finished essay becomes a regular reading text. When you save the corrected version, My version lets you revisit your original writing and the feedback. Saving without a check does not create a corrected version or feedback.
Basic allows fewer checks per day than Plus. A successful check does not guarantee that you can save the finished text today: adding your own texts has a separate allowance.
