Interface language

The interface is available in Russian and English. You switch it in settings and the choice is remembered — your system language no longer affects the app after that.

Where to switch it

Settings has a language selector. It applies to the app itself: menu items, buttons and labels.

On first launch the language follows your device settings. If your system language is neither Russian nor English, the app picks one of the two for you — and you can change it by hand.

Interface language and material language differ

Word translations, grammar explanations and character breakdowns are written separately from the interface. So in rare cases the menu may be in one language while an explanation is in another.

Chinese stays Chinese

The interface language does not affect the material you study: words, phrases and texts stay in Chinese whatever you choose. Only the language the service speaks to you in changes.

What to do if…

The app opened in the wrong language

Change the language in settings — the choice is saved and survives a restart. You do not need to change your system language for this.

The menu is in one language and explanations in another

That can happen: the interface and the study material are translated separately. Write to support with the specific screen — one at a time these are fixed precisely.

I want the interface in another language

Russian and English are available at the moment. No other interface languages yet.
