Plans
Basic lets you study words in a daily session, keep your dictionary and read materials. Plus increases the number of sessions with new material and adds grammar, radicals and more ways to work with texts. Different activities have their own limits: a session allowance is separate from generation or game allowances.
The free plan
- A daily session with word reviews.
- One study session per day, with a possible extra review-only session for a large backlog.
- Full access to your dictionary: tags, collections, your own words.
- Reading and self-study materials; some topics and actions require Plus.
Your dictionary and accumulated progress do not expire with a subscription. Daily allowances determine what you can do today.
What Plus adds
- Several new-material sessions a day instead of one.
- Grammar and radicals as part of the session.
- Grammar drills with sentence building.
- Unlimited generation of dialogues and texts.
- The new-word pace setting.
- Early access to new features.
Different actions have different limits
On Basic, dialogue and text generation share a daily allowance. Adding your own text, checking an essay and starting a Dui-dui round have separate limits. Plus removes the new-round limit and allows text editing and question generation, but text edits and essay checks still have limits.
New features
The Chrome extension is currently in a pilot. Local translations and saved words work without an account; connecting Tomyo lets you send words to your dictionary. The extension does not add a separate study allowance and is not yet published in the store.
