   Study on the big iPad screen, and tap any word in phrases, examples and dialogues to see its pinyin, translation and sound.

   • Tomyo now runs on iPad, with a layout made for the big screen and a side menu.
   • It works well in portrait and landscape. Turn the iPad sideways and the daily text, texts and news open next to the main screen.
   • On iPad the translator has its own page, together with pinyin and your name in Chinese.

   Translate Chinese right in Tomyo, with pinyin above the words, audio and one-tap adding to your vocabulary.

   • Translate from Chinese to English and back — the translation appears as you type.
   • Turn on pinyin and it sits above every word. Hover a word in the translation and its Chinese match lights up.
   • Hover a Chinese word to see its meaning, hear it and add it to your vocabulary.

   New game: “Yes or no?”

   One minute to beat your record: decide if the answer fits the word and build your streak up to ×5.

   • Each card shows a word and a possible answer — decide in a second whether it fits and tap “Yes” or “No”. A game lasts one minute.
   • Every four correct answers in a row raise your score multiplier — up to ×5. A mistake resets the streak.
   • Four modes: Meaning, Listening, Reverse — a translation and a character — and Seen it?, where you remember the previous card. New modes unlock as your vocabulary grows.
