Your study streak

Your streak counts consecutive days with completed study sessions. Several sessions on one day add just one day to the streak. It tracks regularity, while knowledge and history are separate measures: a break ends the streak but does not erase the words you have learned.

What counts

A completed study session is what counts for the streak. Opening the app, reading a text or playing Dui-dui does not extend it by itself. The activity calendar may include more kinds of practice, so active days and streak length do not have to match.

Streak stages

As the streak grows, its badge changes through fire, lightning, diamond and crown. Open the badge to see how many days remain until the next stage. These milestones track regularity; they do not raise your HSK level or unlock materials.

Today and after a missed day

If your last session was yesterday, the streak is still active: complete today's session to extend it. A missed day starts a new streak. Your best streak stays in the history.

What to do if…

I studied several times, but gained only one streak day

The streak counts calendar days, not sessions. Extra sessions advance your learning, but cannot add another day to today.

My long streak disappeared after a missed day

Your current streak has restarted, but your best result and session history remain. Continue with your current material; you do not need to relearn the whole dictionary.
