Rule structure

X就 (jiù)X(点儿 (diǎn ér))吧 (bā) accepts a less-than-ideal situation: “fine, let it be so.” A quality or action is repeated, while 就 (jiù) and 吧 (ba) frame the concession. 点儿 (diǎn ér) (diǎnr) can soften the degree of a quality, as with 贵 (guì), “expensive.”

Examples

贵就贵点儿吧,我买。

Guì jiù guì diǎnr ba, wǒ mǎi.

So it's a bit pricey — fine, I'll take it.

累就累吧,做完再说。

Lèi jiù lèi ba, zuò wán zàishuō.

So I'll be tired — fine, I'll finish it first.
